Expressing her frustration, Jasmine condemned the healthcare sector for prioritising profit over patient care. She wrote, “It is a tragedy when institutions founded to heal and alleviate suffering become tainted by a focus on profit, turning into entities that exploit the pain of others for financial gain. The true essence of places like hospitals lies in their noble mission to care for the sick and vulnerable, not to capitalise on their suffering.”

For context, on May 30th, Jasmine had shared a picture of her mother in the hospital, smiling while resting on the bed. She captioned the Instagram story with, “My Mommy strongest,” showcasing her mother’s resilience despite the circumstances.
