Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10: ‘I was diagnosed with spondylitis, muscle tear in both knees,’ reveals Paras Kalnawat post elimination

The gone weekend on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 saw the first shocking double elimination of the season, witnessing the ousting of two promising contestants, Amruta Khanvilkar and Paras Kalnawat. The fans of the show were left heartbroken seeing these two loved contestants leaving the stage midway through the competition. Now, post his elimination from Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10, Paras has penned a beautiful note on social media, recalling his journey on the show and revealing some unknown details of his injuries.

Paras took to Instagram yesterday to share a picture of himself with the rest of the contestants and choreographers from the show, and along with it, he wrote a heartfelt note sharing his thoughts on his sweet journey on the show. He wrote, “It’s a win! I won millions of hearts, finally I can call myself a dancer. Being a part of India’s No. 1 reality show itself is big. It’s an end of this beautiful journey but I’m taking along beautiful memories, great bonds and kind words by the judges, cast & crew of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 10. I’m blessed to have been able to perform in front of my co- contestants and judges as I’ve always had stage fear. I was too conscious in the beginning but then I overcame my fear. (sic)”.

Not just that, Paras also revealed being diagnosed with spondylitis during the course of the show. He shared, “Also i was diagnosed with spondylitis and muscle tear in both the knees but I decided not to give up because this journey was more important than my health. I felt so lucky sitting in the contestant lobby along with the legends and celebrities I’ve been watching even before I decided to be an actor. Love you guys and I’m gonna miss you all. Hope you all loved my performances. Thank you soo much for sending in your love and votes. I’m overwhelmed by the response. Looking forward to another beautiful journey. PICTURE ABHI BAAKI HAI DOSTON (sic)”.

Paras had entered Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 after a controversial exit from the TV show Anupamaa, as he chose the reality show over the daily soap. Now, that he is moving on to newer things, here’s wishing him the best of luck and a speedy recovery.
