Actor Vikas Sethi – who has starred in shows such as Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kahiin To Hoga and Kasautii Zindagi Kay, is no more. The actor – who played Robbie in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham…, reportedly passed away earlier today after suffering a cardiac arrest.
Vikas Sethi passes away
As per a Telly Chakkar report, Vikas passed away in his sleep following a major heart arrest. The actor – who was only 48 at the time of passing, is survived by his wife Jhanvi Sethi, and their twin sons. The actor’s bereaved family is yet to release an official statement regarding his death.
Talking about Vikas’ performance on the big and small screen, he played Swayam Shergill in Kahiin To Hoga and Prem Basu in Kasautii Zindagi Kay. He also appeared in Karan Johar’s ensemble family drama, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. He essayed the role of Robbie, Kareena Kapoor’s college friend in the 2001 film.
Aside from playing supporting characters in some of the most popular daily soaps of the 2000s, he also participated in Nach Baliye 3. Vikas appeared in the third season of the celebrity dance reality show with his then-wife, Amita. The actor also appeared in the 2001 film Deewaanapan and 2019, Telugu hit ISmart Shankar.
