Kapil Sharma shares an update of ‘namkaran’ ceremony of his baby boy

Comedian-actor Kapil Sharma and wife Ginni Chatrath became parents for the second time. They welcomed a baby boy, on February 1. Kapil shared the good news on social media that he has been blessed with a baby boy. Celebs, friends, and fans of the comedian poured in their congratulatory messages for the couple.

One of the users asked Kapil about the baby boy’s name. Replying to the tweet, Kapil said that the namkaran ceremony has not yet taken place. (namkaran means a religious ceremony for naming the newborn).

On February 1, Kapil took to his Twitter profile and wrote, “Namaskaar! We are blessed with a baby boy this early morning, by the grace of God. Baby and mother both are fine, thank you so much for all the love, blessings n prayers. Love you all – Ginni and Kapil.”

Kapil and Ginni tied the knot as per Hindu and Sikh traditions in Jalandhar in December 2018. They welcomed their daughter, Anayra Sharma in 2019.

The Kapil Sharma Show is going off-air soon. When a fan asked the reason, Kapil replied back, “Because I need be there at home with my wife to welcome our second baby.”

Kapil is all set to make his digital debut with Netflix. He had said in a statement, “I am super excited for my first-ever association with Netflix. 2020 has been a bumpy ride for everyone around the world and my motive is to make people forget their worries and welcome this new year with love, laughter and positivity. I always wanted to be on the streaming giant but I didn’t have their number. It’s a project close to my heart and I cannot wait to share more details with my fans soon”.
