Karan Mehra’s fan passes away in a road accident; actor shares a heartfelt note

Karan Mehra, the television actor who made a reputation for himself with his programme Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, is deeply saddened. The actor, who gained a large fan base after portraying Naitik in the show, announced on social media that one of his most devoted fans had passed away. Karan took to Instagram to express his sorrow at the death of Ambika Nigam, a fan of his who passed away in a car accident.

The actor writes “With a very heavy heart I’m sharing about the shocking demise of an ardent fan of mine “ Ambika Nigam”. A simple girl from Mumbai had dreams of making it big and went abroad to do her MBA on a scholarship to Berlin. Lost her parents to cancer at a young age and brought up by her Aunt, she was ready to take on the world,”

The actor continued, “On 26th June 2021, she was shopping and was hit on a pedestrian crossing and knocked off. News came about the tragedy. We prayed that she would survive. Unfortunately yesterday came to know that she passed away 3 weeks back. Her famous quote was “What goes around, comes around”. Thankyou for all the love you showered on me for years May God rest your soul in peace Ambika Nigam.”

Earlier this year, Karan was accused of domestic violence by Nisha Rawal. She also filed a police complaint. He got arrested in May for allegedly assaulting Nisha but was released on bail after a few hours. Nisha had alleged that Karan pushed her against a wall and hurt her head. She had also alleged that he was having an affair.
