Karan Mehra’s FIRST comment on wife Nisha Rawal’s allegations of assault against him: She SPAT on me; hit herself

The Mumbai Police arrested popular television actor Karan Mehra on Monday night. A complaint was filed against the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor by his wife and actress Nisha Rawal. The couple got into a fight in Goregaon, after which Karan was taken into custody. The actor has now been granted bail.  But now there is a new development in this case as Karan gave a shocking statement on Nisha.

Karan, in an interview with India Today, said that Nisha’s brother Rohit Sethiya had also joined them to sort out their differences. He mentioned that Nisha and her brother later asked for an alimony amount which was too high. Adding that Nisha’s brother had come to meet him last night, Karan said that Rohit suggested going the legal way. Karan alleged that later when he went to his room and was talking to his mother over call, Nisha “barged in, started hurling abuses” at him, his parents and his brother.

“She started shouting loudly and not only that Nisha even spat on me. When I asked Nisha to go out, she threatened me by saying ‘see what I do now’ and went out. She then smashed her head on the wall, and told everyone that I did it,” the actor has mentioned. Karan also shared Nisha’s brother has assaulted him and hit him on his chest too.

Karan is confident about the investigation process as he says, “If they file a false case, the truth will come out. If tomorrow an investigation is conducted, the truth will be out.” The couple had tied the knot in 2012 after they met on the sets of Hastey Hastey. The two welcomed their son in 2017. While rumours of marital woes have been floating around for some time, the actors had never come forward about their troubled marriage.
