YRKKH fame Karan Mehra granted bail in the alleged assault case filed by wife Nisha Rawal

On Tuesday everyone woke up to the shocking news of popular TV actor Karan Mehra being arrested by Mumbai police following a complaint filed against him by his wife Nisha Rawal. The Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor’s wife had filed a complaint against him following a fight. The latest update on this case state that Karan, who was in the process of securing bail in the Mumbai police station, has been finally granted bail.

Earlier news agency ANI had tweeted, “Maharashtra | Actor Karan Mehra arrested after his wife & actor Nisha Rawal filed a complaint in Goregaon area last night. Rawal filed a complaint against Mehra following a brawl. A case has been registered: Mumbai Police.”

Now according to the India Today report, Karan who was taken into custody is out on bail now. Snapped at the Mumbai police station, the actor was seen wearing a pink and white checkered t-shirt, trousers and a cap. Owing to the pandemic, he was also seen wearing a mask.

Reports of trouble in the couple’s married life have been doing the rounds for the last few months. However, rubbishing all these rumours, Karan had told Aaj Tak, “I have no clue what led to these rumours all of a sudden. I saw this news today only and I have been getting calls from everywhere. When Nisha got the news, she had also cleared it. Even after that, I don’t know how these rumours started spreading.”

More details are awaited on exactly what led to the brawl between the couple who always appeared to be having a perfect marriage.
