Television actor Karan Wahi has made his digital debut with the web series ‘Hundred’ that also stars Lara Dutta and Rinku Rajguru. The web series was released on the Disney+ Hotstar platform recently. While talking to us, Karan spoke at length about his prep for the role, about the show and his co-stars. Karan feels that working with actors like Lara Dutta, Rinku Rajguru, Makarand Deshpande and others is like a ‘boon’ for him.
Talking about the cast, he said, “It’s a boon that the show has such a strong cast. There are so many people from different genres of the same fraternity and they all had made a mark. And when they all come together, for me I consider it as the biggest boon. It is always a great thing to work with actors who are good at their craft.”

He said, “I didn’t take classes for singing but I went to Raftaar (rapper) Paji and sat with him as I was working with him in a reality show at that time. I have a few Jatt friends in Delhi and used to speak to them to get the accent. I tried to imbibe everything from people I know, people I have seen, sat with the writers and producers to get into the skin of my character.”
When asked what attracted him towards ‘Hundred’, Karan said, “Once I read the script, I was very excited because I have never played the character Maddy before. So, it was a good opportunity to break away from a general mass hero to playing this character. I hope people like my character.”
