Kasautii Zindagi Kay actor Pracheen Chauhan granted bail in molestation case

TV actor Pracheen Chauhan was arrested from his house in an alleged molestation case. The case was filed by a 22-year-old actress. The police have registered a case under sections 354, 342, 323, 502 (2) against the actor. As per a report in ETimes, he was produced before the Borivali court today and was granted bail.

As per the complaint, the Kasautii Zindagi Kay actor had invited the actress and her friend to attend a party at his residence on June 30. He was drunk and touched her inappropriately as per the complaint. Prakash Bele, Senior PI Kurar Village police station, Malad (East), said, “The complainant along with a friend was invited by the accused to his residence on June 30. The accused was drunk and touched her inappropriately. He was produced before the Borivali court today and has been granted bail.”

Pracheen is yet to comment on the complaint filed against him. Pracheen has worked in many shows like Ssshhhh… Koi Hai, Kyun Hota Hai Pyarr, Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat, Sindoor Tere Naam Ka, Kutumb, Yeh Hai Aashiqui, The Adventures Of Hatim, Laal Ishq, Saat Phere: Saloni Ka Safar, Maat Pitah Ke Charnon Mein Swarg, Havan, and S.I.T. videos among others. He was also seen in Shaadi Mubarak.

Recently, Pearl V Puri was also arrested for the molestation of a minor girl on the set of his TV serial Bepanah Pyaarr in 2019. The actor was granted bail in the case on June 15.
