‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’ actress Shubhaavi Choksey shares impressive paintings from ‘Heart and Brain’ series

Actress Shubhaavi Choksey who’s known for playing the role Mohini Basu in ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ has recently shared a beautiful series of paintings that she has created during the lockdown. The actress has stunned everyone with her extraordinary painting skills.

Explaining these intriguing series of paintings, she says “When the quarantine started I had a lot of emotions going on inside me. So many people losing their lives, so many families suffering physically and mentally. Numbers were on the rise and my heart was just filled with anger and compassion. But there was hope, there was a strong yearning for things to get better. So I started coloring and painting. The heart series begins with THE BURNING HEART, followed by THE HEART WITH HOPE & THE HEART in SYNC WITH THE UNIVERSE!! After I finished this my one was hungry to express itself, hence the Brain series. It begins with THE CRAZY HOUR, goes to PERPLEXITY & then THE AWAKENING!!”

She further adds, “I don’t know how to paint.. Don’t remember doing so except in school. Though I have always put my energy in creating something whenever I feel the need to express myself … It’s either my space at home or work. Crafts for my son or even myself. Painting came in as a surprise to me as well – rather an invigorating experience in 2020”.

She also says, “The best part about painting something is that it is Your creation. It is that piece of paper that exuberates your thought process, your imagination which when done ameliorates your being !!
It is therapeutic in ways that I cannot describe in words.”
