‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’: Urvashi Dholakia pens down a heartfelt note as the show clocks 18 years

‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ has been one of the most famous and most loved shows in the television industry. One of the standout characters being of ‘Komolika’, who is still remembered as one of the most iconic vamps on TV. Urvashi Dholakia who played Komolika in the show back then recently reminisced about it as the show clocked 18 years.

Urvashi Dholakia took to her Instagram to share a heartfelt note about her journey on ‘KZK’ and how it was revolutionary from the Television industry. She wrote, “18 years of Kausatii Zindagii Kay! The show which changed the way viewers saw Indian Television, gave them their most loved show and probably their most memorable vamp, Komolika. What it gave me was a decade full of love, recognization, and character that became synonymous with my name and me. It shaped me, changed me, taught me and most importantly thank you to each one of you, to @balajitelefilmslimited , @ektaravikapoor and @shobha9168 especially… Komolika became what she did because of you. Forever humble and grateful to god ❤️ (sic).” Along with the emotional note, she shared a scene from the show which was an introductory scene of Komolika. She was seen wearing a blue sari with iconic Komolika makeup.

In season 2 of ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’, Komolika was played by Hina Khan initially, but now that she has opted out of the show, Aamna Sharif has been roped in as the new Komolika.

Meanwhile, Urvashi Dholakia had participated in ‘Nach Baliye 9’ along with Anuj Sachdeva. She had also recently made an appearance on ‘Bigg Boss’ season 13.
