It was back in March that Sahil Anand and his wife Rajneet Monga opened up about their pregnancy. The couple posed for a cute photo together, as they shared their excitement to welcome their first child. Now, the ‘happy news’ is here, as the couple is blessed with a baby boy. Yes, you read that right! Sahil Anand and Rajneet Monga have become proud parents of a baby boy. The couple welcomed their first child on April 14, 2021.

Their baby’s delivery happened pre-term amid the COVID crisis, and the couple had to face several challenges. In a chat with the Times of India, Sahil Anand revealed the name of his baby boy. Sahil and Rajneet have named their baby boy, Sahraj. Revealing why it is special, Sahil told, “It is the first three letters of our names.”

Sahil shared that they had decided the name before the little one’s arrival. Sahil also added that the meaning of Sahraj is strong, courageous and powerful. “It’s a beautiful coincidence that he was born the day after Baisakhi and during Navratri,” the actor reiterated. Giving an update on wifey Rajneet and his son’s health, Sahil told that they’re doing fine.

The actor is currently enjoying this new phase of fatherhood. He said that he is spending nights watching the little one, his movements and reactions, and he is not tired of it. “I think I understand his pattern now (laughs!). I am just waiting for the situation to get better, so that I can take my baby to my hometown in Chandigarh and introduce him to our families,” Sahil shared.
