‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 12’: IPS officer Mohita Sharma becomes the second crorepati of this season

Popular game show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ is one of the most-watched shows on Indian television. Host Amitabh Bachchan brings his own charm to the show and the audience loves to witness people, from all walks of life, coming on the show to fulfil their long-cherished dreams.

In season 12, only a week ago we saw Nazia Nasim take home Rs. 1 crore. And guess what? ‘KBC 12’ has got its second crorepati in IPS officer Mohita Sharma. The makers of the show released its latest promo in which we can see Big B congratulating Mohita as she cracks Rs. 1 crore question.

30-year old Mohita hails from Kangra (Himachal Pradesh). She is currently posted in the Jammu Kashmir Cadre as an Assistant Superintendent of Police in Bari Brahmana (Samba). In the latest promo of ‘KBC 12’ we hear, Mohita telling Big B, “Irrespective of the money I win when I sleep at night, I should feel satisfied with the game I played.”

This episode featuring Mohita cracking Rs 1 crore question will air tonight on Sony Entertainment. Mohita is married to Indian Forest Service officer Rushal Garg. On the show, she revealed that it was her husband who encouraged her to participate in ‘KBC’. She even said that Rushal himself has been trying to participate in the show for the last 20 years.

Until Monday (November 16) Mohita has been playing very impressively and she has even floored host Big B with her intelligence and soft-spoken persona. Mohita is one of those very few government employees who have participated in KBC and won a handsome amount.

After winning Rs 1 crore, Mohita will be attempting question number 16 which will help her win Rs 7 crore. Will she succeed in answering the last question? Well, if you want to know the answer stay tuned to this space.
