Kiku Sharda needs no introduction. The comedian – who is currently part of The Great Indian Kapil Show season 2, is known for playing a variety of characters on the different Kapil Sharma shows as well as appearing in several other comedy shows and films. Sharda recently opened up about being associated with Kapil Sharma and his comedy shows for 11 years now.
During the same chat, Kiku – who is often seen dressed as a woman character on the show, revealed he never had any apprehensions about cross-dressing. Read on to know al he said.
Kiku Sharda on cross-dressing like a woman
Talking about cross-dressing, Kiku Sharda told Indian Express, “I never had any apprehensions about dressing up as a woman, I have done this from The Great Indian Comedy Show days. I am an actor so I should be able to deliver everything that comes my way. As far as I make it entertaining, it’s fine.” The comedian continued, “Whenever I play a woman character, I make sure it is very dignified and enduring, it stays in the cute zone only. If I dressed up as a woman and the audience didn’t accept it, then I wouldn’t have continued, but it has been done well.”
Kiku concluded talking about cross-dressing by saying, “I can go to any extent for my craft.”
During the same chat, he also opened up about how his life changed after his association with Kapil Sharma and his talk shows. The comedian said, “Kapil has been a different high. It has been 11 years that I have been doing the show, but working with Kapil has helped me learn so much, and grow so much. It has helped me become the person I am today.”
