EXCLUSIVE: Kinshuk Mahajan reveals the REASON why he asked Rajan Shahi to replace him in Bidaai

Television actor Kinshuk Mahajan became a household name after Bidaai. It was the turning point of his career. But did you know he once asked producer Rajan Shahi to replace him in the popular show? Well, it is revealed by Kinshuk himself in an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble. He appeared in the latest episode of Reel Buddies Season 2 with his Pandya Store co-star Shiny Doshi. Kinshuk reflected on his journey from a Disney show to achieving big success with shows like Bidaai and made the big revelation.

The Naagin 2 actor said as he didn’t know how to dance properly, he asked producer of Bidaai, Rajan Shahi to replace him but the latter’s words motivated him to be on the show. He said, “When I signed for Bidaai, first day I reached on set, mujhe laga ki pehle koi scene se start hoga. First day tha mera aur gana tha ‘Chale Jaise Hawayein’ and woh pura shaadi ka sequence tha. Par mujhe toh dance aata nahi. Aur pura choreographer bulaya gaya tha. Aaj ke time pe pura dance sequence I think che (six) ghante mai pura karte hai. Tabhi ek din tak karte the. Mera dance sequence tha ded din tak. Mai pareshan kyunki dance ho nahi raha tha.”

“Then I called up my producer, Rajan Ji. I said, ‘Sir, I think you should replace me’. But his word, ‘Arre tu tension na le, mere hero, tu hero hain. Humlog sablog sambhal lenge, tu bhul ja’. So that kind of motivation really helps you,” he added.
