Kishwer Merchant receives a warm welcome at home as she returns with her baby boy; Watch ‘overwhelming’ homecoming video

Television actors Kishwer Merchant and Suyyash Rai welcomed their first child last week. The couple was blessed with a baby boy. Suyyash had taken to his Instagram to make the announcement. He had shared a family photo. Since then, Kishwer and Suyyash have been constantly posting pictures with their little one. Kishwer Merchant returned home on Monday night after her delivery. She was discharged on Monday. Kishwer took to her Instagram to share an ‘overwhelming’ homecoming video. It featured the preparations family members did to welcome Kishwer, Suyyash, and their baby. 

In the video, Kishwer Merchant and Suyyash Rai were welcomed with a small puja. The house was decked with white, silver, and blue balloons. As Kishwer made her entry, she was taken by surprise when she noticed the preparations, especially the banner on the wall. It read, “Welcome home Bunny.” A wooden cradle rested in one corner of the room was also seen in the video. The cradle was placed beneath the banner.

Kishwer Merchant admits in the video that she felt a bit overwhelmed with the preparations made by her family members. She shared the video and tagged her family members in the post. In the caption, Merchant wrote, “Our welcome at home .. made special by all special ones.” 

After Kishwer made the post, many reacted to it. Arjun Bijlani reacted to the video and dropped red hearts. Several industry friends and colleagues also reacted to the post made by Kishwer and congratulated the couple.

Suyyash Rai and Kishwer welcomed a baby boy on August 27, 2021. Just recently, the actress had made a post talking about problems she faced during pregnancy and delivery.
