Koffee With Karan 7: ‘And so it begins’ Karan Johar starts shooting for the new season

Filmmaker Karan Johar is all set for the new season of his popular chat show Koffee With Karan 7. He had earlier this week pranked his fans with a note that said his iconic chat show won’t be returning. But later the producer-director announced that Koffee With Karan (KWK) will stream on Disney+ Hotstar. Now the Dharma Production head honcho has shared an update that the shoot for the same has begun.

Karan Johar took to Instagram and shared a few pics from his grand set wrote, ” Back to brewing some koffee!☕️

In the viral pictures, he is seen dressed in his fashionable best as he sat on a chair holding the popular ‘Koffee’ cup. As soon as the post hit the ‘gram, excited fans and netizens showered it with likes and comments.

It is yet to be known who will feature on Karan’s show. But rumours abound that the first episode will be shot with Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh or Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna. But there has been no confirmation of the same as yet. Koffee with Karan first started airing in 2004 on Star World. The sixth season of the show ended in 2019.

Apart from the chat show, Karan is also back to direction with his upcoming film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The movie features Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, and Jaya Bachchan in pivotal roles. Furthermore, his production house is also backing several upcoming projects and films which are currently in the pipeline.
