Kratika Sengar shares a picture of breastfeeding daughter Devika as she pens an empowering note

Kratika Sengar welcomed her first child, a baby girl, with her husband Nikitin Dheer in May this year. The couple named their baby girl Devika Dheer. Since welcoming their first child, Kratika has been sharing cute pictures with her daughter. On Wednesday, Kratika shared an adorable picture with her daughter Devika.

In the photo, Kratika can be seen breastfeeding her baby girl as she holds her in her arms. She talked about ‘normalising breastfeeding’.

The actress shared the picture and captioned it as, “There is nothing better than time spent nourishing my baby. It is a deeply personal journey and not all days have been pleasant but I would not trade it for the world. Its empowering, its normal and its best for my little one.. #normalisebreastfeeding #mealsonheels.” Reacting to the picture, Kishwer Merchantt and Richa Sharma dropped heart emojis.

After giving birth to her baby, Kratika had shared a cute post with a picture of a rainbow. The actress had captioned it, “We feel blessed to share with you the arrival of our darling daughter!- Dheers #harharmahadevॐ.”

Earlier in an interview, Nikitin had revealed why he and Kratika named their daughter Devika. The actor had said, “We had zeroed in on a few names for both a boy and a girl. We wanted an Indian name, not a Greek, Turkish or Italian one. We are desi at heart and like it that way. That’s how we finalised Devika for our daughter. It souds beautiful and is timeless. There is a lot of grace, dignity and deep meaning attached to the name.”
