‘Kumkum Bhagya’ actress Tripti Shankhdhar alleges her father tried to kill her-Watch Video

Television and film actor Tripti Shankhdhar, who hails from Bareilly, has accused her father of trying to kill her. The ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ actor posted videos on social media in which she is heard saying that her father, Ram Ratan Shankhdhar, wants to marry her off to a person of his choice and on her refusal to it, he had allegedly threatened to kill her and her family.

In the video clips, Tripti is heard accusing her father of pulling her by her hair and thrashing her. She also said that her father is asking her to return the money that he gave her when she went to Mumbai for acting. In the videos, Tripti’s mother is also seen and she also said had the same claims. Her mother said that her husband has been torturing her since marriage.

As per a report by IANS, Tripti has now left her home with her mother and has also sought protection from the Bareilly police. Her father is a real estate businessman.

As per a report by IANS, the Bareilly police said that they have not received any written complaint but they saw Tripti’s post on social media. A senior police official said, “We are investigating the matter.”
