‘Kundali Bhagya’ fame actor Sanjay Gagnani tests positive for Covid-19

The Coronavirus scare is growing day by day amidst the unlock phase. With the shooting for films and shows resuming, the Covid-19 positive cases are only increasing at an alarming rate. Several television actors have tested positive for the deadly virus and the latest actor to join the list is Sanjay Gagnani.

Sanjay, who plays the lead antagonist Prithvi in ‘Kundali Bhagya’, has contracted the deadly virus and is now under home quarantine.

Confirming the news, Sanjay told the Times of India, “Yes, I have tested positive and am home quarantined.” Apart from the medicines, the actor is also drinking kadha and immunity boosters aloe vera, amla and giloy juice. “I’m also doing regular steam inhalation and saltwater gargles. I am sipping on warm water to soothe my throat and eating plenty of fruits,” he added further.

Reportedly, the shooting of ‘Kundali Bhagya’ that features Shraddha Arya and Dheeraj Dhoopar in the lead roles has been stalled after Sanjay’s test result came positive. Apparently, the shoot can resume only after three days after the sets have been sanitised.

Recently, veteran actress Himanshi Shivpuri and Sara Khan have also tested positive for the deadly Coronavirus. We wish them all a speedy recovery.
