Lock Upp grand finale: Munawar Faruqui lifts trophy; beats Prince Narula, Payal Rohatgi and others

Ekta Kapoor’s show Lock Upp which is hosted by Kangana Ranaut has reached its finale. The show has Karan Kundrra as the jailor and now Tejasswi Prakash as the warden. It has gained a large viewership over the last few weeks. On Saturday it got its first winner and he is none other than Munawar Faruqui. The first runner up of the show was Payal Rohatgi.

The grand finale of the show was held on May 7 and consisted of 6 finalists –Shivam Sharma, Munawar Faruqui, Prince Narula, Payal Rohatgi, Azma Fallah, and Anjali Arora. Payal, Munawar and Anjali made it top the top three. But the trophy was bagged by Munawar Faruqui. He was one of the most popular contestants on the show who had won the hearts of the audience with his antics.

Along with the trophy, Munawar has also won Rs 20 lakhs, a car and an all-sponsored trip to Italy.

Munawar Faruqui played the game extremely well and was known as the mastermind of the game. From day one he had made a place in the audience’s heart with his gameplay. He had also grabbed the headlines for the controversial secrets that he had shared on the show.
