Madhubala actor Bhupinder Singh arrested for killing neighbour, injuring three people in a fight over cutting trees in UP

Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon actor Bhupinder Singh has been charged with murder. He shot a man and injured three others in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. The incident happened after he allegedly opened fire at his neighbours during an argument over cutting eucalyptus trees at Bijnor in Uttar Pradesh.

The incident took place on 19^th November. Bhupinder was setting up a fence near his farm in Bijnor. Next to his farm is the agricultural land belonging to a resident named Gurdeep Singh. The altercation began after Bhupinder decided to cut some eucalyptus trees to set up the fence. As per the report, popular TV actor Bhupinder Singh and others fired over 10 rounds from licenced as well as illegal weapons at four members of a family. The firing killed Gurdeep Singh’s 22-year-old son Govind and left him, his son Amrik and wife Beero Bai injured. The three are currently under treatment.

After the incident, Bhupinder was charged under the attempt to murder and voluntarily causing hurt and Arms Act. Not only this, Bijnor SP Neeraj Kumar Jadaun, while overseeing the case, admitted that the local police did not take the row seriously and three officers have been suspended.

Bhupinder has acted in popular TV serials like ‘Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kam’, ‘Ek Haseena Thi’, ‘Madhubala –Ek Ishq Ek Junoon’, ‘Rishton Ka Chakravyuh’ and ‘Tere Sheher Mein’, among many others. He was part of several movies such as Sham Ghansham, Badri, Villain, Anji, Yuvvraaj and Soch Lo among others.
