Nitish Bharadwaj, who is popularly known for playing the role of Lord Krishna in Mahabharat, is grabbing attention once again. The actor’s personal life is making headlines for a shocking reason. According to reports, he has filed a complaint against his estranged wife, Smita Gate, accusing her of mental harassment and unruly behaviour. In his complaint, he also accused her of not letting him meet their two daughters.
Nitish Bharadwaj files complaint against estranged wife
According to Free Press Journal, Nitish approached the commissioner of police (CP) of Bhopal, and submitted a complaint against his estranged wife. In his complaint, Nitish mentioned that he and wife mutually filed for divorce in 2019 and that the case in still pending. The veteran actor further accused his wife Smita, who is currently posted as an additional chief secretary at the MP Human Rights Commission in Bhopal, of not letting him meet their two daughters.
Furthermore, he revealed how things got worse as Smita kept changing schools of his daughters, which affected his mental health. The Mahabharat actor has requested CP of Bhopal to take action. Reportedly, the investigating officer Falguni Dixit is currently looking into the matter.
Nitish and Smita tied the knot in 2009 and filed for divorced after years of marriage. They have twin daughters.
