Bigg Boss OTT 3: Mika Singh to participate in the Anil Kapoor-hosted show? Here’s what we know

Anticipation for the Bigg Boss OTT 3 premiere is growing daily. The reality show, notorious for its controversial content, is set to begin on June 21, with Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor taking on the hosting duties for this season. Among the rumoured participants, popular singer Mika Singh has recently been approached to join the show.

According to Pinkvilla, Mika Singh has been approached by the Bigg Boss OTT 3 makers. Sources reveal that the producers aim to include one well-established name from the entertainment industry. Last season featured actor-producer Pooja Bhatt, hosted by Salman Khan. However, it remains unconfirmed whether Mika Singh has accepted the offer. More details are awaited on this front.

Mika Singh’s career journey

Mika Singh is known for lending his voice to prominent Bollywood stars like Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar. He also has independent albums and gained attention on the reality show Swayamvar – Mika Di Vohti, where he chose his bride, Akanksha Puri, a wildcard entrant and his best friend. Although they did not marry, they share a strong companionship. Mika previously mentioned that if Akanksha were a singer, they might have considered marriage. Akanksha, Mika’s close friend, participated in Bigg Boss OTT Season 2.

The excitement for Bigg Boss OTT 3 is high, with numerous celebrities and well-known personalities rumored to join the show. Potential contestants include Sai Ketan Rao, Khushi Punjaban, Vivek Choudhary, singers Navjeet Singh and Nirwair, YouTuber couple Jatin Talwar and Nidhi Talwar, and Bangkok-based entrepreneur Anushka Purohit. The full list of contestants has yet to be confirmed.

There was speculation that Bollywood celebrities such as Karan Johar and Sanjay Dutt might host the season. However, the producers have finalised Anil Kapoor as the host and released the promo.

Bigg Boss OTT 3 will premiere on June 21 at 9 PM on Jio Cinema and Colors.
