Mohit Abrol decides to flee from the city post breakup chaos with Mansi Srivastava

Mohit Abrol and Mansi Srivastava called it quits seven months ago after their 8-year-long relationship. Recently, Mohit took the internet by storm with his lengthy post where he accused Mansi of using him and cheating on him with her ‘Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se’ co-star Arhaan Behl. He also mentioned her dating photographer Kapil Tejwani soon after their break-up. That post was later deleted.

Mohit denied uploading that post and said that his account was hacked. In an interview with Bombay Times, speaking about his break-up Mohit said, “I don’t know what went wrong between Mansi and me. We were engaged, and she didn’t even tell me that she had decided to call it off. I even tried to approach her and her friends to make sense of things. We lived together for eight years and I deserved an explanation. All I wanted was closure from her, which I never got. I got to know recently that she has already moved on and is dating a guy, while I have been suffering.”

The ‘Porus’ star has also decided to quit acting and relocate to Delhi, saying he came to Mumbai just because of Mansi.

Whereas Mansi presenting her side of the story told the leading daily, “If moving on after a break-up is cheating in Mohit’s dictionary, then I’m an illiterate! Reality is actually way different from how it is portrayed. He can paint me with whatever colour he wants, black or grey. He might choose to pose as a victim and earn sympathy, but I prefer to live with self-respect. I am hurt that I have to give a statement like this and have to defend myself for things I haven’t done.”

Mansi also cleared that there’s no third person (hinting at Kapil) involved in her break up with Mohit.

Well, we hope things cool down between these two as washing one’s dirty linen in public has never helped anyone.
