Mohit Malik, Additie Malik pen LOVING notes as son Ekbir turns 1 month old; Latter calls ‘life a celebration’

Additie Malik and Mohit Malik are over the moon. Why do you ask? Well, their son Ekbir has turned a month old. Yes, already! Time flew fast, and baby boy Ekbir is now one month old. Ever since the arrival of their little munchkin, Mohit Malik and Additie Malik have been sharing glimpses of their ‘happy moments’ with Ekbir. They’ve been sharing their parenthood experience with fans.

Now, as Ekbir turns one month old, Mohit Malik and Additie Malik penned heartwarming notes for their little one. They took to their Instagram handles to share their heartfelt feelings. Mohit and Additie expressed how their life has changed beautifully after Ekbir entered their lives. Additie feels ‘life is a celebration with little Ekbir. Mohit, on the other hand, feels it’s the ‘time to learn’ as a parent and not teach.

“As you turn 1 Month today, I feel I’ve grown a lifetime in this one month watching you Ekbir. These moments are memories, memories we will continue celebrating as life is a celebration with you,” wrote Additie as she wished Ekbir as he turned one month old.

Daddy Mohit Malik traced his journey of parenthood in the past month. He emphasised how he wishes to be Ekbir’s guide, support and mentor. “Time to learn not teach! A gardener to this little flower. A student to this teacher. A parent to my child but one who shall only give him an environment to thrive, an environment where I will learn from you rather than imposing my thoughts on you, “he wrote.

Mohit continued, “Yes, you are part of me but I want you to have an individuality of your own, I want you to have thoughts of your own, I want you to have a path of your own and I promise, I’ll take a step back and watch you do it all. I will let you fall and learn the hard way, I will let you make your mistakes, I will let you do what you want to because that’s what you have taught me. I learn from you every day! Happy one month, Ekbir!”

Meanwhile, Mohit Malik and Addite Malik welcomed their first child on May 27, on the auspicious occasion of Hanuman Jayanti. Though Mohit wanted a baby girl, God blessed the couple with a baby boy and lit up their lives. The couple embraced parenthood after a decade of marriage.
