EXCLUSIVE: Mouni Roy REVEALS why she and husband Suraj Nambiar had 2 weddings

Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar are one of the most loved couples in the industry. They tied the knot on 22^nd January last year. For the uninitiated, they had two weddings, as per Bengali and Malayali. Now, in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Mouni opened up about her two weddings. The actress was at her candid best as she recalled her beautiful wedding day with husband Suraj.

Mouni Roy recalls her wedding day

The Brahmastra actress said, “Can you imagine I got married twice in one day because both the mothers were like we want a Bengali wedding and my mom-in-law was like we want a Malayali wedding. So, I was like ‘Okay, let’s do both’.” Since getting married, Mouni and Suraj are giving fans major relationship goals.

During the candid conversation, Mouni Roy also opened up about how she and husband Suraj Nambiar deal with their fights after marriage. The actress said, “Absolutely, you suddenly realize how futile it all is especially. You know, when two people are together they’ll have arguments, they’ll have their problems but how to deal with it I think the moment you’re married, there’s a sense of stability, you’re grounded and you feel like I’ve to be with this person and I love this person. What’s the point of prolonging this fight of this argument? So, you come to a middle ground much quicker than when you’re just boyfriend-girlfriend.”

The actress added, “I think the egos are much more than the love in itself. I truly feel what has changed in both of us, me and Suraj is that we have become better in giving than receiving. Give more love, give more understanding, and be there for each other more. When you do that for the other person, there’ll always be a reciprocation. So don’t be all about me, me and me. It becomes about us.”

Furthermore, she heaped praise on her husband. The actress called him a ‘wise and an intelligent man’.
