Mouni Roy defeats husband Suraj Nambiar in ring finding ceremony, Watch griha pravesh video

Newlyweds Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar made their first public appearance on Sunday as they returned to Mumbai. Mouni looked gorgeous in a red Benarasi saree while Suraj looked handsome in an off-white kurta-pyjama. Mouni has been posting wedding pics and videos on her Instagram handle. After coming to Mumbai, the couple had post-wedding ceremonies like Griha pravesh, ring rasam and others. Mouni’s friends performed an arti and welcomed her in the house as she walked barefoot on the alta. They cheered for the couple as they entered. Followed by this ritual, the couple played the ring finding ceremony. In this ritual, the bride and groom are supposed to find a ring in a pot of milky water. The Naagin actress defeated Suraj with her friends.

Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar tied the knot on January 27 at Hilton, Goa. They got hitched in both Malayali and Bengali traditions in presence of their families and close friends. Celebs like Mandira Bedi, Arjun Bijlani, Aashka Goradia among others attended Mouni’s big day. Post the wedding there was a sangeet and a pool party where everyone had a great time. The pics and videos went viral. Mouni has been sharing glimpses from all the pre-wedding ceremonies and her wedding as well.
