‘Mujhse Shaadi Karoge’: Paras Chhabra and Shehnaaz Gill’s show stalled as contestants sent back home due to coronavirus outbreak

After FWICE announcing that no TV shows will not be filmed post 10 March till 31 March, Paras Chhabra and Shehnaaz Gill’s new show ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karoge’ is also said to go off-air. Reportedly the contestants have been sent home due to the coronavirus outbreak.

According to a report by Spotboye, Paras and Shehnaaz’s swayamvar has been stalled and the contestants have been asked to go back to their homes. A source revealed, “Yes, the contestants are packing their bags right now and are going back home. The show was supposed to go of-air on March 27 but now it will most certainly be delayed.”

Talking about the FWICE’s directives, at a meeting held two days back, between IMPPA and IFDC with producers, it was decided that no form of shooting for any entertainment platform will take place between March 19-March 31.

The report also stated J D Majethia, Chairman of IFDC, TV, he said, “We have taken a call on the TV sector for sure. Bollywood and OTT I don’t think have that much hurry to shoot, they don’t have to deliver daily episodes. And as a precautionary measure, we are sure they won’t shoot. As it is the entire release calendar has gone for a toss ever since the Corovirus outbreak happened.”

The fatal coronavirus is spreading like wildfire across the globe and the official are taking all the necessary precautions there are to avoid this pandemic.
