‘Naagin 5’: Maheck Chahal to star in Ekta Kapoor’s show? Here’s what the actress has to say

A few days back Ekta Kapoor confirmed that ‘Naagin 5’ will be rolling soon. As per reports in Pinkvilla,  Maheck Chahal is likely to be part of ‘Naagin 5’. The report read, “As the channel has slashed down production costs by almost 30% for everyone, the makers are looking to cast a relatively newer face who is not too much of an expensive resource.”

Maheck has denied all the reports via her Instagram post. In the post, she wrote that she does not know where these rumours are coming from. She wrote, “I am not doing #naagin5 or even being approached for it. #Colors #EktaKapoor Don’t know how this rumour started. Just clearing the air. #balajitelefims”.

Also, there were reports that Shivin Narang being roped in for the show as the male lead but he has not yet spoken about it.

Well, Ekta Kapoor confirmed that ‘Naagin 4’ that stars Nia Sharma, Vijayendra Kumeria and Rashami Desai will not get revamped but will have a fantastic end and then the new season will start immediately.

She shared a video on her social media handles and said, “I have been constantly asked about ‘Naagin 4’ and whether we will be continuing it. A lot of people have also asked me about the new season. I am not in a mood to give interviews and that has led to a lot of rumours coming in.”

She added, “So we have planned a fantastic end for ‘Naagin 4’. We will air around four episodes of the same. And then immediately we will get ‘Naagin 5’ rolling.”
