It’s said ‘Every good thing comes to an end.’ Yesterday (February 2, 2021), the Naagin 5 team called it a warp for their show. Yes, the actors of Naagin 5 shot for their final sequence for the supernatural drama and bid a hearty goodbye to the viewers. Naagin 5 is going off-air on February 6, paving the way for its spin-off, Kuch Toh Hai. Sharad Malhotra penned down a heartwarming note for his co-stars, fans, and the team as he bid adieu.
Sharad reflected on his 6-month journey on Naagin 5. He revealed how playing Veer has changed his life for the good and opened his boundaries as an actor. The actor tagged his 6-month journey on Naagin 5 as a ‘dream run.’ Sharad expressed his gratitude to Ekta Kapoor and Naagin 5’s creative team for believing in him. He thanked them for bringing out the best of his potential. He also thanked the entire cast and crew of Naagin 5 for their consistent support.
The actor did not forget to express his love for his fans, who have consistently supported him throughout his journey. Lastly, after thanking everyone, Sharad asked viewers to shower their love on Naagin 5 finale. He also urged them to support Naagin 5 spin-off Kuch To Hai, starring Harsh Rajput and Krishna Mukherjee.
Sharad Malhotra shared, “It is a universal truth that all good thingss come to an end. Endings are inevitable and Goodbyes get difficult, especially when your last 6 months was no less than a dream run.” Expressing his gratitude, he added, “First and foremost, my lady boss Ekta Kapoor ma’am…Thank you for putting your trust in me and believing somewhere I could be your Cheel aka badass Veer, always be grateful for this.”
Reflecting on how Veer helped him in his career, Sharad shared, ‘This bad boy with a good heart gave me a new identity and I garnered an enormous amount of love, warmth appreciation from one and all.” Thanking his second family aka fans, Sharad expressed, “Last but never the least…viewers, various fan clubs and SM army, Thank You for all the trendings, polls, awards, cakes, gifts. And most importantly the love that’s been pouring in Nonstop and keeps getting stronger and deeper. You guys are unstoppable and I love y’all to bits.”
Sharad shared a BTS video with Surbhi Chandna aka Bani, and the team as they had blast on the last day. They crooned Salman Khan’s song Jeene Ke Hain Chaar Din as they made beautiful memories together for one last time.
