Naagin 7: Isha Malviya to shapeshifters list featuring Mouni Roy & Tejasswi Prakash? Here’s what we know

Naagin fans have been eagerly waiting for season 7. Now, as per the latest reports, Isha Malviya is likely to be the new Naagin in Ektaa Kapoor’s supernatural thriller show.

Isha is reportedly in talks with the makers and may soon be finalized for the part, as per News 18. Their sources revealed, “Isha is indeed in talks with the makers of Naagin, and things are looking positive. She is likely to get finalized soon.”

According to reports, the show’s creators are sure of Isha’s acting abilities and think they will give the legendary part a new angle. The source further added, “Isha has already proven her acting chops in her previous shows, and we believe she has the potential to take the Naagin franchise to new heights.”

If Isha Malviya bags the role of Naagin, she will join the league of actresses like Mouni Roy, Surbhi Jyoti, and Nia Sharma, who have all played the Naagins in previous seasons.

Naagin first season premiered in 2015 with actors Mouni Roy, Adaa Khan and Arjun Bijlani in the lead. The show became an instant hit and was widely loved by the audiences. The second season was also led by Mouni. However, Arjun was replaced by Karanvir Bohra.

In 2018, Naagin returned with season three, which starred Surbhi Jyoti, Pearl V Puri, Anita Hassanandani and Rajat Tokas. For the fourth season in 2020, the cast and the show’s name were both altered. The fourth season, which was titled Naagin: Bhagya Ka Zehreela Khel, featured Vijayendra Kumeria and Nia Sharma.

However, Naagin 4 failed to recreate the magic and dropped it on the TRP charts. The fifth season of Naagin aired from August 2020 to February 2021 and featured Surbhi Chandna, Sharad Malhotra and Mohit Sehgal.
