Nakuul Mehta calls Jankee Parekh and Sufi ‘his champions’ after the latter undergoes a surgery

Nakuul Mehta and Jankee Parekh are one of the most adored couples in the town. They were blessed with a baby boy Sufi Mehta in February this year. It was after several years of marriage that the two decided to embrace parenthood and have been a very dedicated one at that. On Monday, in a heartbreaking post, Jankee Parekh revealed that Sufi had to undergo surgery for a Bilateral inguinal Hernia, he was diagnosed with it recently. Both Nakuul Mehta and Jankee Parekh made sure to train him for the surgery. Recalling the process, Jankee assured that Sufi is now doing fine and is healthy.

In the post, Jankee encouraged parents to let their kids grow up feeling ‘happy and fearless’ as they tend to be more resilient than we give them credit for. Nakuul Mehta among others commented on it and called them his ‘champions. He wrote, “Both, my champions” followed by heart emoticons. Drashti Dhami, Anita Hassanandani, Kishwer Merchantt, Shrenu Parikh, among others left best wishes for Sufi and prayed for his speedy recovery.

In the post, Jankee wrote, “Babies are a lot more resilient than we think. They understand & sense each & everything that we feel & communicate. I truly believe my long chats with Sufi in spite training helped him pass this exam with flying colours. The best gift that we can give our children is to teach them to be ‘Happy and Fearless’ inspite of all the challenges that life throws at them.”
