EXCLUSIVE: Nakuul Mehta REACTS to rumours of not being friends with Surbhi Chandna: People can perceive whatever they want to

Nakuul Mehta and Surbhi Chandna are one of the most loved on-screen couples on television. Their pairing of Shivaay and Anika in Ishqbaaaz was very much loved by the audience. Both also bagged many awards for their jodi. Earlier, in an interview Nakuul said of not being in touch with Surbhi. Post which it created a lots of headlines as their fans got offended with the actor for not being ‘in touch’ with Surbhi.

In Bollywood Bubble’s Xtraordinary You, when Nakuul was asked about the fans’ reactions, he said, “If I was to make a fake story, ‘Hey, we just spoke yesterday’. But that’s not true, right. I rather be honest and like I said I never make professional choices based on how based on what the audiences feel. I don’t make headlines based on what a popular answer would be. I don’t go out making selfies everyday with people I work to share or show how much love or respect them.”

He added, “These are younger people who are also so attached to the idea of loving a pair or as couple. I also see it as love. It’s ok. Everyone has a different view of expressing themselves. I can’t expect them to express the way I would like them to. People can perceive whatever they want to. That’s fine.”
