Nakuul Mehta says he will miss playing Ram as he QUITS Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2: Now is the time to go

Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 is one of the most popular TV shows. Nakuul Mehta, who played the role of Ram Kapoor, has now quit the show. The actor was paired opposite Disha Parmar. Disha played the role of Priya. Fans loved Nakuul and Disha’s chemistry in the show. Sadly, Nakuul’s journey in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 has come to an end. In a recent interview, Nakuul opened up quitting the show. The actor stated that it is ‘the right time to go’. He also admitted that he will miss playing Ram onscreen.

Speaking with Hindustan Times, Nakuul said, “The show got a lot of love though many people had doubts when we started because we took on an iconic show (and remade it). But for it to have the journey and reach out to people the way it was, I think has been truly special. I feel creatively full having been a part of it for so long. The story is going to places and I feel going ahead there’s nothing new I can bring to it. I will miss playing Ram.”

The actor added, “I feel I have paid my dues to the makers and the audiences in the last 18 months. Morever, you must know when to go and now is the time to go. It is tempting to stay on and continue with a show and receive love, but what more is my question? I look at challenging myself.”

Nakuul made his acting debut with Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara. He played the role of Aaditya Kumar. Later, he was seen as Shivaay Singh Oberoi in Ishbaaz. Apart from that, Nakuul made his web debut with I Don’t Watch TV. He is popularly known for his role in the web show, Never Kiss Your Best Friend. The actor has also appeared ibn the short film, Ved and Arya.
