NCB arrests comedienne Bharti Singh and probes husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa after conducting a raid at their residence

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) summoned comedian Bharti Singh and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa today. This was after the ace comedienne’s residence was raided by the agency in relation to the drug probe. After the questioning Bharti Singh has been arrested.

A report by ANI read as, “NCB raided production office & house of comedian Bharti Singh & from both the places 86.5 gms of Ganja was recovered. Both Bharti & her husband Harsh Limbachiya accepted consumption of Ganja. Bharti Singh arrested & examination of Harsh Limbachiya is underway: NCB (sic).”

A little while before the arrest another report by ANI read as, “Narcotics Control Bureau conducts a raid at the residence of comedian Bharti Singh in Mumbai: NCB #Maharashtra (sic).”

According to a report by News18, a raid was conducted by the agency late night on Friday and a drug peddler was arrested. After questioning the peddler, the NCB carried out a raid at Bharti and Haarsh’s residence that is located at Andheri area of Mumbai.

The star couple had been summoned by the agency today and they were questioned about how they procured drugs. Raids have been conducted in other areas as well after obtaining information from the arrested peddler.

NCB had also raided producer Firoz Nadiadwala, actor Arjun Rampal and Deepika Padukone’s manager Krishna Prakash’s residences. After which, Gabriella Demitraides’ brother Agisilaos Demetriades was arrested and so was Nadiadwala’s wife in the drug probe.
