Neha Kakkar reveals how Rohanpreet Singh drunkenly proposed her; says, “Inhone 2-3 beer chadhayi hui thi”

Finding your soulmate is not easy in this world. Singer Neha Kakkar found love in Rohanpreet Singh and before anyone could know anything about their relationship they even tied the knot. The couple starred in the music single ‘Nehu Da Vyah’ and soon after they took the plunge.

Neha recently appeared on Kapil Sharma’s chat show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ and she revealed how Rohanpreet was drunk when he proposed her for marriage. Read on to know the interesting story of Rohanpreet’s proposal.

Recently Neha and Rohanpreet made a joint appearance on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’.And sharing details of how love blossomed between them, Neha said that after the shoot of ‘Nehu Da Vyah’, Rohanpreet asked her Snapchat ID. Soon after that, they began chatting. Neha was always clear that she wants to settle down and marriage is definitely on her mind. However, Rohanpreet told her that he is just 25-years-old and he is not thinking of settling down as of yet.

With different things on their mind, Neha and Rohanpreet stopped talking. However one day, Rohanpreet texted Neha, “Nehu, I can’t live without you. Let’s get married.”

On the show, Neha shared, “Inhone 2-3 beer chadhayi hui thi. Maine socha, beer chadhayi hui hai, chhodo, subah bhool jayenge (He had downed two-three beers. I thought, ‘He is drunk, he will forget what he said in the morning’).”

The singer further revealed that the following day when she was shooting in Chandigarh, Rohanpreet met her at the hotel and asked if she remembered what happened last night. Neha told him, “You were the one who was drinking, why will I not remember?”

When Neha realised that Rohan was serious about the proposal she asked him to speak to her mother who liked him instantly. And rest as they say is history.

The couple tied the knot on October 24. And they recently released their second music single ‘Khyaal Rakhya Kar’.
