Nehha Pendse on people calling her husband a divorcee: I am not a virgin either

‘Bigg Boss’ fame Nehha Pendse and Shardul Singh Bayas got hitched on January 5. The wedding was held in Pune in a traditional Maharashtrian style. Post the wedding, we came across the news that Shardul was married twice and divorced. Also, he has two daughters from both his marriages. But Nehha knew about it as Shardul had not kept her in dark. As told by Nehha, she is aware of his past relationships.

In an interview with Times of India, Nehha spoke at length about it. She said, “What’s the big deal about this? Today, many of us are getting married late because of various reasons, including the focus on career. A lot of people end up having more than one relationship before finally tying the knot. The commitment, love and physical proximity could be the same as it is in a marriage, the only difference is that there is no legal stamp over it.”

She also opened up on people calling her husband a ‘divorcee’. Nehha said that she is not a virgin either. She also appreciated the fact that Shardul took chances with women he was in love with but in case of her relationships, the men just disappeared. Nehha also said that Shardul is not commitment-phobic.

Further praising her hubby, Nehha said, “I salute him for his undying faith in the institution of marriage. It is easy to not believe in it after two failed marriages. That shows that he is a man of substance unlike those who fear the idea of getting married. I also feel that if a marriage is not working out, one should end it rather than drag on.”

Nehha even met his first wife and daughters. She thinks Shardul won’t make the mistakes that a rookie husband might as he knows what works and what doesn’t in a marriage.
