Veteran actress Tarla Joshi, who played many pivotal roles in Television serials, passed away on June 6. Popular for playing ‘badi beeji’ in Nia Sharma and Krystle Dsouza starrer Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, Tarla Jodhi breathed last on Saturday. The reason for her death is yet to be known. Nia Sharma took to her Instagram handle and informed about the veteran actress’ demise. She mourned her death and wrote, “RIP Badi Beeji You will be missed.”
Nia Sharma also shared a few BTS pictures with Tarla Joshi and wrote, “Tarla ji you’ll always be our Badi beeji.” According to reports, Tarla Joshi was in touch with Bandini co-stars Aaziya Kazi and Mrunal Jain during the lockdown. Tarla Joshi has worked in many shows including EHMMBH where she played the great grandmother of Nia Sharma and Krystle’s character. The show also starred Kushal Tandon and Karan Tacker in the lead roles. She also played a prominent role in Sarabhai VS Sarabhai, apart from Bandini.
Her demise news has certainly come as a shock. Meanwhile, speaking of Nia Sharma, the actress was last seen in Naagin 4 where she played the lead role alongside Vijayendra Kumeria. The show was pulled off abruptly due to lockdown imposed in the view of COVID 19. Nia has been pretty active on social media and was recently seen extending her support to Pearl V Puri, accused of molestation by a minor. The actor is currently in police remand.
