‘Jamai Raja 2.0’: Nia Sharma and Ravi Dubey kickstart shoot for the sequel

One of the popular jodis on television, Nia Sharma and Ravi Dubey have started shooting for the sequel of ‘Jamai Raja’. Nia took to her Instagram handle to announce the news of their first-day shoot. In one of the pictures, Nia was seen holding the clapboard of ‘Jamai Raja 2.0’.

‘Jamai Raja’ was one of the popular daily soaps on television with the highest TRP ratings. The reboot version will be streamed on the digital platform Zee5. Ravi and Nia will be in lead roles and their fans and followers including Ravi’s wife Sargun Mehta, are excited to see SidNi back with the show.

Reports suggest that the makers have also roped in Achint Kaur (who played Nia Sharma’s on-screen mother) and Sudhanshu Pandey in the web show.

‘Jamai Raja 2.0’ will be directed by Shashant Shah and is backed by the production house, Viniyard Films. The original was raved by the audience and later it was made in many regional languages. Ravi Dubey and Nia Sharma rose to fame with the show.

With the web series, we hope that Nia and Ravi will be able to recreate the same magic with their chemistry. We are looking forward to the sequel. What about you?
