EXCLUSIVE: Nidhi Shah gushes over being called ‘Kinju baby’ by Anupamaa fans: It feels great

Nidhi Shah is one of the most popular actors in the TV industry. Nidhi is popularly known for playing the role of Kinjal in the TV show Anupamaa. Nidhi Shah, who recently appeared in a music video with Mohsin Khan, sat down for an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble and opened up on the success of Anupamaa. Nidhi Shah got candid as she discussed being called ‘Kinju baby’ by Anupamaa fans.

When asked about being a part of Anupamaa, Nidhi told us, “Firstly, I want to thank my producers, my writers and creators. He is the one who has given me the role. He is the one who is writing good scenes for me. So, that you know, it gives an impact to the audience, it puts an impact on an audience, a person. So, it feels great. It feels nice to play such an important character of the show.”

Nidhi added, “Rupali (Ganguly) is doing fab. She is the face of the show. But apart from that also if you are getting loved by your audience then it’s a great feeling. Also, it’s like ke mein kahi pe bhi baithi hu na aise ‘aap Kinju baby ho na’ and ‘Aap Anupamaa mein aate ho na’, ‘I love your show’. Aise jab pagal ho jaate hai na log toh accha lagta hai ki aapka unke lives pe bohot asar ho raha hai, impact pad raha hai. So, joh role aap play kar rahe ho woh unko pasand pad raha hai (It’s like wherever I sit they say ‘You are Kinju baby, right?’ ‘You come in Anupamaa’. So, when people go crazy like this then it feels good that it’s making an impact in their lives. It means that they are liking the role that you’re playing) If they (fans) are liking it, I am liking it.”

The actress went on to add, “You know, it’s a blessing if you’re working what you love and people like what you’re doing then it’s a great achievement in itself. They (viewers) don’t know my name also but they know Kinju baby. I’m like they know it, they love it, it’s good.”
