Nisha Rawal reveals son is not aware of separation with Karan Mehra, believes he is out for shoot

Popular Television actors Nisha Rawal and Karan Mehra hit headlines when Nisha accused the actor of domestic violence. Karan was soon arrested but granted bail a short time later. But ever since the two have been involved in a legal fight regarding the custody of their son. Nisha is currently on Ekta Kapoor’s show Lock Upp and in a candid chat revealed her son does not know about his parent’s separation.

She further added that she is encouraging her son Kavish to see a behaviour therapist. The therapist has told her to tell him the facts. Like age-limited facts, things that his brain can accept

Nisha Rawal in a candid conversation with co-contestant Karanvir Bohra said, “He very rarely asks as his father was always away shooting for a show in another city. They were not in touch every day. Their bond was not like they would talk to each other on calls every day. Whatever moments were there was created by me mostly. I would tell him to come to sit, talk to him, put his phone aside because then you’ll be gone. When Kavish asks me where he is and why he (papa) is not calling, I am waiting, I tell him, I am also waiting. I tell him I am sorry but his mom is there for him. I am your mama and papa.”

Nisha and Karan had met on the sets of Hastey Hastey and soon tied the knot in 2012. The couple welcomed their son Kavish Mehra on June 15, 2017. However, the two actors parted ways in 2021 leaving their fans and friends in shock.
