Bigg Boss 13 was the season of fights as much as it was of love. One of the many couples formed that season was Asim Riaz and Himanshi Khurana. The duo dated each other for three years before calling it quits in December 2023. Confirming their breakup, Himanshi said in a statement, “YES, we are not together anymore, All the time we have spent together has been great but our togetherness comes to an end Now. The journey of our relationship was great and we are moving forward in our lives. We request you to respect our privacy.”

Now, a source close to the actress had unveiled shocking details about the duo’s breakup – why it happened and whether a patchup in possible in the future. Read on to know what the insider said.

Asim Riaz and Himanshi Khurana messy breakup

During a recent interaction with Hindustan Times, a source close to Himanshi Khurana got candid about the actress’ relationship status and her focus in life. Talking about her and Asim Riaz’s breakup, the insider said, “It was quite messy. The reason was their religion and that got ugly by the end. Himanshi is still very sensitive about that matter and avoids talking about it.” They added, “She didn’t even react to his mystery girl pic. It took her a while to move on.”

Elaborating further, the source said that a reconciliation between Khurana and Riaz is unlikely. They were quoted saying, “She doesn’t want to get back with him again. There is no turning back, and even if she decides to get involved with someone romantically in the future, it will not be Asim.”

The report further claimed that Himanshi is currently single and wants to focus on work. The insider shared, “She is and wants to stay single presently and focus on work now. Himanshi has signed an OTT film and is working on that right now. It is her top priority currently. The aim is to do better professionally and dating can happen later.”

The former Bigg Boss 13 couple, who met and fell in love while on the controversial show parted ways three years later – in December 2023, citing religious differences.
