Not Sobhita Dhulipala, Jennifer Winget was supposed to romance Aditya Roy Kapur in The Night Manager

Did you know that Jennifer Winget was first approached for the role of Kaveri in The Night Manager? Yes, Jennifer revealed in a recent interview that she had auditioned for the role but then the makers went ahead with Sobhita Dhulipala. In an interview with Times Now, the Dill Mill Gayye actor said she was upset when she didn’t get the role despite auditioning for it.

Looking back at the incident, she told the portal, “I had auditioned for The Night Manager but I didn’t get it. Aisa bahut baar huya hai (this has happened many times). And I loved the original show… And it had Aditya Roy Kapur! But it’s okay!”.

The Beyhadh actor further added, “Of course, you feel upset and sad but life goes on and something better comes along. I truly believe that every time something has not worked out for me, something even better has happened.“

When Jennifer Winget said she wanted to be around Aditya

Earlier, during a fun segment of What’s in My Bag with Bollywood Bubble, she was asked whose bag would she pick and what would she find. She named Aditya Roy Kapur and mentioned she would pick the actor’s bag. Jennifer told Bollywood Bubble, “I would like to see Aditya Roy Kapur’s bag, if he carries a bag. I just want to be around him. So, he can put me in his little bag and carry me everywhere. Okay, not little bag. I know you don’t carry a little bag. But, you know, if you’re carrying a bag, just call me.”
