On Hina Khan’s later father’s birthday, actress’ mother gets emotional while cutting the cake

Hina Khan remembered her late father on his birth anniversary. The actor, through various Instagram stories, shared emotional messages addressed to him. She also shared the photo of a beautiful bouquet made out of pink and white lilies which is apparently his dad’s favourite flower. Got your fav flowers on your birthday dad. Happy birthday, daddy. I love you. Miss you,” she wrote. Hina also uploaded a video of her father cutting a cake on his 60th birthday. He is heard joking that he cannot be 60 as he celebrated his 35th birthday last year.

Hina Khan also shared a heartbreaking video of her mother cutting the birthday cake on behalf of her father.
Tagging her mother as her “source and inspiration for my strength,” Hina, in a long note, wrote, “Loss that is incomprehensible makes us feel bitter about life. But to be able to create our own silver lining takes depth, courage, strength and will. I have definitely got that from my mother. I can’t imagine or know anyone stronger.. she chose to celebrate it and decided to cut the cake on His behalf..she’s both the source and inspiration for my strength.” She also adds, “At first I wasn’t sure about posting these visuals of a courageous yet sobbing mother who’s fighting it out for THE ONE she loved and the ones who love her. But just like we have to experience all possible human emotions.. I think to keep our social media presence as real as possible.. we must show the vulnerabilities.. the teary eyes, the sobs and grief. Because we must accept us as a whole human being .. with all sides .. hopefully this will make us more tolerant to accept everyone else. And that I learned from my beloved Father. I humbly request everyone to keep him in your prayers,” the actor concluded the post and said she will “always love” her father.

The actor was shooting in Kashmir for a music video when her father passed away in April. She rushed back to Mumbai, but soon tested positive for Covid-19 and had to go under quarantine. On the work front, Hina Khan’s film Lines is currently streaming on Voot. Hina and Shaheer Sheikh are back together on screen. The duo, who featured in the song “Baarish”, are collaborating for their second single titled “Mohabbat Hai”. Hina Khan announced their new collaboration as she shared photos on social media.
