Shweta Tiwari’s daughter Palak Tiwari is a star in her own right. She shot to fame with her performance in the music video ‘Bijlee Bijlee’. She recently featured in another music video ‘Mangta Hai Kya’ with Aditya Seal. Palak is slowly climbing the success ladder. Time and again, Palak has said that her mom is an inspiration. Now, in a recent interview, Palak opened up about being compared to her mother. The young star kid said that she is used to it now.
Speaking with ETimes, Palak said, “Comparisons with mom are inevitable! In fact, I have grown up with these comparisons. I have heard comments like, ‘Yeh aapke jitni sundar aur talented hogi kya?’ Since I look more like my father, I’d also hear comments like, ‘Arre, yeh aap par nahi gayi. I would punch my pillow dreading that my life was ruined because I didn’t resemble my mother.”

Furthermore, sharing how Shweta makes her feel better, she said, “My mom would keep telling me that I looked better. So, these comments don’t scare me anymore and I take them sportingly because I adore my mother and hold her in high regard. I have learnt whatever I know about acting by watching her work. If people think that I am not up to that standard yet, I agree with them because I have a lot of work to do to reach her level. Hopefully, someday I will, but I would also ask them to go easy on me.”
For the uninitiated, Palak will be making her debut in Bollywood with Rosie: The Saffron Chapter. During the chat, Palak said that she wants to explore films and make her own identity in the film industry. She added, “I feel my mother has done everything there is to do on television, so the pressure on me will be a lot more as the comparison will be direct.”
