Pankaj Tripathi starrer Kadak Singh trailer is a mystery thriller of secrets, suspense and revelations

Pankaj Tripathi is all set to leave his audience amazed with his upcoming movie Kadak Singh. The trailer of Kadak Singh was unveiled at the opening ceremony of the prestigious 54th International Film Festival of India [IFFI], Goa. Not only this, the trailer also received a roaring response from the audience at the prestigious film festival. Along with this, Kadak Singh will also witness a World Premiere at IFFI, Goa under ‘Gala Premieres’ category. It will be attended by the cast of the upcoming movie.

The recently released Kadak Singh trailer follows the life of AK Shrivastav aka Kadak Singh. He is a Joint Director at the Department of Financial Crimes who is currently battling retrograde amnesia. As the trailer unfolds, it showcases AK being admitted to the hospital. He is presented with conflicting narratives about his past, compelling him to discern fact from fiction. Amidst this, AK is determined to uncover the truth behind him mysteriously landing up in a hospital and behind a significant financial crime. All of this while saving his family from falling apart.

Pankaj Tripathi opens up about playing a unique character such as Kadak Singh. He said, “Kadak Singh is unlike anything I have played before. He is an unusual character, and it was such joy portraying such a layered personality. Additionally, I got to work with some incredible talent including Tony Da, Parvathy, Jaya and the young and enthusiastic ones like Sanjana. Everyone’s combined energy and passion really transformed the film from the pages to the screen. Also, it was exciting to launch the trailer at IFFI last night and see audience’s reaction to the trailer for the first time ever. We are also screening the film here at IFFI so we are excited for that too.”

Apart from Pankaj Tripathi, Kadak Singh also stars Sanjana Sanghi, Parvathy T, Jaya Ahsan, Dilip Shankar, Paresh Pahuja and Varun Buddhadev. The upcoming movie is helmed by National Award-winning director Aniruddha Roy Chowdhary. Kadak Singh will have an OTT release on Zee5 on 8th December, 2023.
