Parth Samthaan is one of the most adored TV stars we have today. In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, the actor opened up about his entire journey as an actor – being mocked as a fat kid when he wanted to be an actor, his physical transformation and a lot more.

Parth is a very shy person and at times he doesn’t open up to people. When asked if it works against him sometimes, he said ‘yes’. He added, “Especially when you are an outsider, you need to reach out to people, need to be making friends, make relations with a lot of people who are from the industry. You need to let them know what you want to do. I am trying my label best to be like this as people tell me to go out and meet people.”

On asked how he deals with the low days, the Kasautii Zindagii Kay actor said, “Initially, I used to think and it was a very childish thing for me to do. Then after a couple of years, I realised to stop thinking about others and focus on myself. I read many books and that opened my knowledge to the spiritual world. Whatever you get, it’s either written in your destiny or it’s in your hard work. Work hard and your destiny will fall in place. So, everyone has a different journey.”

Parth Samthaan aspired to an actor right from his childhood. “I remember when the class teacher asked me what I wanted to become, I said, “I want to become an actor” and everyone laughed. I remember this till today. But I didn’t feel bad because I was a fat kid and anyone would love for that matter. Then I lost weight on my own and then had a complete transformation. When I came to Mumbai and started architecture, from there things started falling in place and I started getting a couple of projects.”
