Pavitra Rishta 2 new poster: Ankita Lokhande and Shaheer Sheikh are set to embark on a ‘forever’ journey

Ekta Kapoor is all set to sweep away everyone with a sweet romance as she is bringing a new season of the iconic show, Pavitra Rishta starring Shaheer Sheikh and Ankita Lokhande. While many reminisced about the pleasant romance between Ankita and late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, there were many who still welcomed Shaheer with open arms as the new Manav. Going by the recent posters and trailer, it seems like the new season will also make us believe in the concept of love and arrange marriage. As there’s still time for that, recently, Ankita and Shaheer both took to their social media handles to drop the new poster of Pavitra Rishta 2. 

It gives us an idea of how Archana and Manav are going to embark on a ‘forever’ journey. Sharing the new poster of the show on his page, Shaheer wrote, “Jo bane hai ek dusre ke liye, kya ban paenge ek dusre ke saathi? Don’t miss their love story on #PavitraRishta premiering 15th September on #ZEE5.” However, what’s eye-grabbing was the caption on the photo which read, ‘Manav ki Archana’. This speaks volumes about their love as well as piquing our interest on what to expect from the show.

Just sometime back, on Tuesday, Ankita even dropped a cute BTS video from the sets of the show. In the video, Lokhande is seen wearing a vibrant yellow saree while swirling her pallu in a filmy style. Sharing the video on her feed, she wrote, “We can only learn to love by loving #btsedits from #pavitrarishta #manavkiarchana #archanakamanav”

After the first season completed 12 years, Ankita penned a long note talking about her experience, “12Years!! Ohh, Yes Yes It’s 12 Years Of Pavitra Rishta, Time Flies Really Quickly. With more than  66 Awards  #Pavitrarishta remains to be one of the most loved show on Indian Television. Here’s to 12 glorious years of this iconic show. Which not only gave me Archana but love all across the globe and made me who I’m today. The story that celebrates joy of life, love, family and friendship. Thank you @balajitelefilmslimited @ektarkapoor for making me Archana and thank you to all the cast and crew. Thank you Maa and Paa for always supporting me,” she wrote.

Meanwhile, Pavitra Rishta 2 will be premiering on September 15 on Zee 5.
