‘Pavitra Rishta’ actor Amit Sarin and his family test positive for Covid-19

Actor Amit Sarin who is known for shows like ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’, ‘Pavitra Rishta’, has tested positive for Covid-19 as per a report in IANS. Sarin lives in Los Angeles. Amit’s wife Vineesha and their two children have also tested positive.

The actor told IANS, “It has been six days now Vineesha, the kids and I have tested positive. Mentally, it was a jolt initially, but the good thing was that we were asymptomatic. And that is the silver lining.”

He added, “We have immediately boosted our intake of vitamin C, D and zinc. We are having lots of water and fresh vegetarian food. This will definitely help us overcome the deadly virus. Though we have developed antibodies naturally without a vaccine and won’t be infectious to others, we are not going to take that for granted and follow the rules by wearing a mask, washing hands regularly and maintaining social distancing till we are vaccinated.”

Amit further said that their daily routine has been the same and they are doing mostly the same thing which they had been doing the entire pandemic like spending time with each other.

The actor shared a video of his family getting tested. “So yes first time being positive is not a nice feeling but we are all okey and dealing with it. Proud of my kids, their smiles, cry made this all so emotional for us. Stay blessed, take care. Maintain all the guidelines carefully. Love you all,” he captioned the video.
